1. Contribution

We develop a scale-aware region-of-interest assignment function that incorporates the input scale and serves as a more appropriate one-stage object detection framework.

We also propose a superior primary network, VoVNetV2, built upon VoVNet. This architecture demonstrates superior performance and achieves higher efficiency compared to ResNet [10] and DenseNet [14], thanks to its One-shot Aggregation (OSA).
